Optimal Geomatic's in-house Photo Lab is located at our main production facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Our skilled staff processes over 150 thousand  feet of film negatives each year in our state-of-the-art photo lab.

Our Kodak Versamat Processor 1140M is a high quality, totally automatic, digitally operated processor which virtually eliminates much of the subjectivity in photo processing, thus guaranteeing client consistency, tone balance, and sharpness throughout. Our Egoltronic Mark V Contact Printer is a state-of-the-art microprocessor-controlled electronic dodging printer.  This instrument produces optimum image quality and maximizes detail from all negatives.

 Our laboratory is organized similar to a well controlled “clean room” environment which minimizes dust and debris and provides our clients with the highest quality photo products possible. Optimal Geomatic’s photo lab personnel conduct all film editing, titling, processing, printing and QC functions.  This ensures positive controls throughout all photo lab processes and affords Optimal Geomatic the opportunity to avoid dependency on photo lab subcontractors.
