Performs high quality data collection in multi-state locations using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Total Station Theodolites. Searches legal records, survey records, in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed. Plans projects with essential GPS base coverage for aerial mapping. Performs GPS, Inertial and LiDAR (Light Detecting and Ranging) processing and processes and analyzes spatial data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software. Performs a wide variety of tasks including reports, statistics document preparation and manages incoming field information in a database system. Maintains communication with supervisor concerning progress of field work and personnel. Performs any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
