LiDAR Data Analyst
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs high quality data processing
tasks including the processing, management, manipulation and archiving of LiDAR data.
Writing reports and generating documents to support the validity of lidar data is
required. May handle complex projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Understands the concepts of spatial point data.
- Performs a wide variety of the following tasks: reports, statistics, document
preparation, data management, data analysis, etc.
- Maintain schedules and prepares required materials for delivery to internal and external
clients.
- Coordinates with supervisor and co-workers to achieve highest possible efficiency.
- Performs GPS, Inertial and LiDAR processing using provided software
- Perform fieldwork as needed for quick turn-around projects
- Maintains communication with supervisor concerning progress of work and discrepancies of
job details.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College Graduate in related field (Remote Sensing, Surveying) , or;
- Three years related experience.
- Ability to operate PCs and MS Office software
- Ability to learn and understand spatial data software.
- Ability to analyze deficiencies in data and to interpret spatial point data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Binocular 20/20 correctable vision with either glasses or contact lenses. Color vision,
depth perception, and positive hand/eye coordination. Full range of motion of hands, arms,
fingers, and thumbs.
- Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility and make informed decisions without direct
supervision.
- May require travel for extended periods of time.
